SEPTA Senior Key Card Applications and Renewals

We will be resuming applications and renewals for SEPTA Senior Key Cards at our new office in North Wales beginning the week of November 4th. We can also provide additional information on scheduling an appointment with your local state legislative office or with SEPTA HQ in Center City Philadelphia. Please call The Partnership TMA of Montgomery County at 215-997-9100 or e-mail us at info@ptma-mc.org to schedule an appointment in North Wales. Our new office has available parking and is accessible by the SEPTA 96 Bus and the Lansdale/Doylestown Regional Rail Line.

What Is A SEPTA Senior Key Card?

A SEPTA Senior Key Card is available to all Pennsylvania residents who are 65+ funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for FREE senior travel on all SEPTA modes, including buses, trolleys, subways, and Regional Rail (half fare for travel to New Jersey or Delaware).

How To Apply For Your SEPTA Senior Key Card

To apply for your SEPTA Senior Key Card:

  • Call our office to schedule an appointment.
  • Bring your Government issued ID, showing date of birth and current address

SEPTA senior key cards are mailed directly to recipients within 2-4 weeks, after applications are submitted.

*Applications cannot be processed before 65th birthday.

How To Renew Your SEPTA Senior Key Card

To renew your SEPTA Key Card:

  • Call our office to schedule an appointment.
  • Applicants should schedule an appointment before the card expires and bring the old card with them to the appointment.

New cards will be mailed out in 2-4 weeks and current cards will be inactivated after the new card is mailed out

SEPTA extended the expiration date of any SEPTA Senior Key Card that was due to expire in 2020, 2021, or 2022. If your card has an expiration date with one of those years, your card will expire at the end of the listed month in your expiration date in 2023.
